When our founders were students at the University of Southern California volunteering at Camp Moira—a refugee camp in Greece—they encountered Shumaila, a soon to be young mother. In 2020, a fire broke out, destroying the camp and the medical paper records of 13,000 refugees. With the loss of her patient history, ShumaiIa could not receive proper maternal care and suffered a miscarriage. We launched Frontida Records to respond to patients like Shumaila. We equip low-resource and crisis-responding clinics with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to make the information physicians need to operate constantly accessible—allowing disadvantaged patients to receive the healthcare they deserve.
